Sinak Puncak, MediaHabema – One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province. On Sunday, 1 September 2024, the 323 Task Forces, especially the Sinak Post led by Major Firman Permana, visited the Gigobak Village, Sinak District, and conducted Social Services while securing the area.
To ensure the smooth execution of the Social Services, Second Lieutenant Dani, who is responsible for Territorial matters, planned and prepared for Patrol and Social Services in the Gigobak Village. The Soldiers used Social Services to communicate and interact with the residents to observe the area’s current updates. The presence of TNI Soldiers was welcomed happily by the residents, who had the opportunity to meet face to face.
By prioritizing security during activities, harmonious interactions between TNI Soldiers and residents have resulted in a close relationship between the two parties. To increase familiarity, the Soldiers distributed packages of basic necessities needed by the residents of Gigobak Village. The community members were very enthusiastic about welcoming the presence and help from the 323 Task Forces. One of them, Mama Eli Wanimbo, expressed her impression: “Praise God, thank you, Commander 323. God bless.”
Upon receiving the program report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, expressed his pride, saying, “The initiative of the 323 Task Forces to provide packages of basic necessities is a shining example of the TNI’s effort to help in providing needs of the community members in the assigned area to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region. This positive response from the military leadership reassures the event’s success and underscores its significant and positive impact on the community, fostering a sense of hope for the future.”
